Care Beyond Clinic
In Home Visits: Every Tuesday from 1-4pm, we provide scheduled house calls within Amherst town limits. These visits are ideal for nervous pets, pets who dislike traveling, senior animals, or those who find it difficult to commute to the clinic. Our home visits include wellness exams, vaccinations, medical injections, blood collection, skin and ear cytology sampling, eye checks, and more. Please call the hospital to book.
In Home Euthanasia: For those difficult goodbyes, we offer euthanasia services in the comfort and privacy of your home, for both you and your pet. Please call to book.
Remote Clinics: We provide monthly remote clinics for the Tatamagouche community and quarterly remote clinics for the community of Parrsboro. During these sessions, we offer a range of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, medication injections, blood draws, skin and ear cytology sampling, eye checks, nail trims, and more. Please call to book.

Diagnostics
Innovative diagnostics offer accurate assessments, guiding effective treatment plans.

Mama Cat & Kitten Program
If you or someone you know has a mother cat with a litter of kittens, we offer feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency testing. If the results are negative, we will spay the mother cat at a reduced cost. We then take in the kittens, providing spay/neuter surgeries, parasite treatments, and vaccinations. The kittens are adopted out to loving families, with their first year of preventative health care included in the adoption fee.

Carma Days
We’ve partnered with Moncton Carma to spay/neuter their adoptable cats and kittens, addressing the significant issue of cat overpopulation and helping them find their forever homes. These surgeries are booked directly by CARMA.

Trap Neuter Release
We are also partnered with TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) Parrsboro to spay/neuter feral cats, helping to reduce the ongoing issue of cat overpopulation. Since these cats are feral, they are ear-tipped to indicate they have already been altered, and then returned to their colonies.
