Bethany is joining the CCAH team as a veterinary assistant, and she is very excited to see some familiar faces and to meet all of your pets and you! Bethany graduated from the wildlife technician course at Holland College as well as the veterinary technician program at Oulton College, which have provided her with tons of knowledge to take care great care of all the pets we will see. Bethany has 9+ years of experience working in a veterinary hospital, and we are very lucky to have her as a team member!

Bethany is the proud mom of her beautiful daughter Claire as well as her handsome son Wyatt, and along with her partner Randy their home also has a few more family members including Jack the dog, Flea the cat, Ellie the kitten, 6 fish (we won’t name them all) and a snail!

Bethany has a newfound love of all seasons, and she has truly embraced this love over the past few years! In the spring Bethany’s family start fishing and in the summer they are swimming and boating. As it turns to fall, they head out on their four-wheeler for some animal watching, and in the winter, you can find them on the ice smelt fishing or playing in the fresh fallen snow. Maybe Bethany would be able to let you in on the best fishing spots – if you are lucky ;). Bethany is also a fan of live music, and her two favourite concerts were Great Big Sea and the Stan Rogers music festival in Canso, NS. We know there will be an awesome variety of music that will be played in the hospital by this team! Bethany’s favourite activity is hanging out with Claire and Wyatt watching movies and playing around the house and spending time together as a family.
