Born and raised in Springhill, NS, Chrissy is very excited to have moved back to her hometown to be part of our team as a registered veterinary technician. She spent seven years in PEI working at a small animal hospital and lucky for us, she made the decision to get back to her roots and be closer to family.

Chrissy graduated from the Veterinary Technician program in 2012 from Oulton College. She originally had planned on a career in wildlife after spending most of her life exploring and working in the woods with her grandfather, but, after owning a multitude of different pets, decided to change direction and pursue a career helping our furry family members.

You can always ask Chrissy for a good book recommendation! She is an avid reader and loves to be curled up with her cats and a cup of tea. She enjoys hiking, taking in nature, and spending time at the camp. You may also find her baking, crafting, and listening to music on her down time. She shares her home with three cats (Spencer, Maybel & Midnight), a terrier mix (Holly Dolly), and a Chinchilla (Kirby). She also has a very special place in her heart for border collies.

Chrissy has a special interest in all thing’s nutrition and dermatology. Her inspiration and drive for hard work, family and animals is carried over into her work with us, and we feel privileged to have her on the team.
